Hanging Gardens

I have been wanting to start a garden for years, but the perfectionist in me just won't let me make the jump. All of the money I would need to spend to create a decent garden only to kill it in the end - that was my fear.

Well, this year, I bit the bullet. I purchased three Topsy-Turvys. Yep, you heard me right, Topsy-Turvys. I know what you are thinking, 'they are not real gardens', but hey, a woman has got to start somewhere and I am starting at the bottom . . . or would it be the top, since they are upside-down. Thinking about that could make ya dizzy.

What I do know is that I now have strawberries, tomatoes, green and red peppers, and cucumbers planted in my first official garden - albeit a hanging garden. So, here's to hoping that I have a green thumb . . . or at least a green pinkie.
