Week in Pictures ~ 2

This painting is a part of our winter theme for this week. 
Painting was done with a mixture of shaving cream and glue.

Chloe just looked so pretty in this button-up shirt that I had to break out the camera for a picture. 

5. Organize, Organize, Organize

I got bit by the organization bug this week. 

6. My Twin

On Monday Chloe and I finished up and reviewed our Human Body study. 

7. Tortellini Soup

Since it has been bitterly cold here this week, we have instituted soup week. Green Bean and Dumpling, Chili, Chicken and Rice and a recipe for Tortellini soup that I found online, but do not remember where so I am unable to give the proper credit. 

8. Coyote Totem 

I spotted a coyote trotting through the woods behind our home. This is the first animal I have seen this New Year and had some fun doing some research to see what this totem will mean to me in the New Year. 

9. Dreamer 

It is the beginning of a new year and that time out of time that I experience each year. I have been having very vivid dreams full of plenty to keep me pondering their meanings for weeks to come. 

10. Welcome Back

 We switched from DirecTV to Dish Network over three years ago. We have missed DirecTV ever since and have discussed switching back ever since our contract with Dish ran out. Well, we finally did it. C7 brought me the old Dish remote and said to it, “Goodbye . . . we had some good times together.” 

11. Descent into Winter 

We had our first (and probably only) snow for the year. Preceded and followed by the coldest temperatures we have experienced in the south for as long as I can remember.
